The Cummins Family Heart Felt Sympathy January 17, 2010

To all the family of Harry Rose,

Your dad was one of the warmest, most patient and sweet man.   He had such a wonderful smile tht we will never forget. My family and I wish Harry the very best in his now resting place. No more pain and no more suffering. We too hope that he is on that golf course straight down the fairway gently on the green.

Love,

Chris, Angel, Rod, Morgan, Ryan and Little Chris Cummins

Harry definitely had a warm and contagious smile and always appeared to be a man who was living a full and rewarding life even when fighting a devastating disease.....how could he not with such a fantastic and loving family! Our hearts go out to you all at your loss. With love, Brenda & Don
Lori Rose Gianatasio Niece, Daughter of Louis January 11, 2010

When I moved to California by myself in the 70's, Harry made a point of including me in family gatherings.  He really didn't know me at all, but being my uncle, he was welcoming, accepting and caring.  His family became among the few people I knew in San Diego who took an interest in my life.  Mark, too, was wonderful to me.

Harry was such a sweet man.  He had a big, warm smile and a twinkly eye.  Coincidentally, he died on what would have been Louis' 88th birthday.  All the brothers are now gone.

My heart aches for you, cousins.  Heartfelt condolences to all of you.

Polly Rose Love you Uncle Harry January 11, 2010

The last time we had lunch in Del Mar with Uncle Louis and cousin Tina...maybe 4 yrs ago...

was so touching. You were such a sweet soft spoken man who only had nice things to say. Never

a bad word...so unlike your brothers. I remember as a small child in DTW how much fun we always had playing in the yard. You really enjoyed yourself...which always made me happy...that

you were happy.  I'd like to imagine you're out playing golf with your brothers Louis and Bob.

Don't know if Uncle Jack and Uncle Ralph played golf....but if they do...hope you've got a roaring

5 some going  !!!!  Love you Uncle Harry.....   XO

Tina Patterson Niece January 10, 2010

I will miss Dear Uncle Harry, the last of the "Rose Boys". He was always so generous to me, and his big smile and hug lit up many lives.

My deepest sympathy to all my cousins, I know your hearts are hurting.
